Creating Quality Time
Life is what you make it right?
But it’s not always easy to stay calm and cool every day especially when we feel trapped in our jobs or in an avalanche of obligations.
Are you always thinking of going on vacation? Wishing to get away from it all?
But you can’t. Too busy with life and with everything that fills up your days, months and years. Unfortunately, over time, stress often replaces quality time.
And in the end, we forget the simple things and run out of time to do the fun stuff.
Create Quality Time
Simple changes make real stuff happen in everyday life.
But it’s all about how you see things. From which window are you looking at your life?
Of course, it’s not only possible but also necessary to put things back into perspective.
The result? You can have some fun in spite of the bills.
When we do things on purpose, with a specific intention, our actions become more focused.
And we are then able to choose how we feel and what we do, rather than have things control us.
Try carving out small amounts of time consistently over the week and implement small changes, explore new ways of doing the same thing, or try something new.
You’ll notice a difference. You’ll understand how small changes make a big difference.
And best of all, you’ll spend quality time with the ones you love.
It’s all good and brings on a pile of benefits.
Repeat. Enjoy. Together.
Here are a few ideas to get you started on the fun stuff…
QUALITY TIME RECIPES: LIFE IN THE KITCHEN
Spend quality time together in the kitchen 🙂
It’s always fun to gather the family and try out new recipes over the weekend.
This helps to create quality time and get kids out of their comfort zones.
Each child young or older can have their own task, it doesn’t have to be complicated.
Keep it simple and just enjoy together.
BE A TOURIST: QUALITY TIME AT HOME TOGETHER
During family vacations, our minds are free to enjoy, therefore we get closer through activities and conversations.
Although I’m always thinking of going on vacation, I also believe that you can still absolutely explore and create quality time enjoying life closer to home.
Even in your own backyard!
Most of us scramble to save enough money for anything, let alone vacations.
But without a real plan, it’s 2 steps forward and 1 step back and, in the end, our good intentions back us up against a wall.
The main reason is being, even though life is good, it’s also full of bills and unexpected situations.
However, if taking a vacation is important to you, and if you’re here, I can only imagine that it is, then take simple actions that move you towards your goal.
In the end, you will save money and create quality time together and feel recharged!
Everything we do should have a specific reason behind it. If we want to spend more time with our family, then our actions need to go towards that.
If we want to save money for a vacation, then we need a plan.
Life is what we make of it, in spite of all our responsibilities and obligations and the most important plans always have an end goal.
It all starts with: what do you want? And how do you want to live your life?
